Jigga Jigga Update!

Ouch a little over 3 months without an update. I'm sorry my loyal followers, I know I've neglected you all. Well let's try to cover these last 3 months ok? I think it's probably better to just post everything as of now instead of coving that large amount of time in one blog post.

I'm still working full-time, which hopefully will continue once I go back to college this upcoming semester. Yes I will be going back to college, I finally got most of the kinks in my college plan figured out. I am meeting with a counselor next Wednesday to confirm what I have to be accurate. It turns out I am actually 1 year ahead of where I originally thought I was in my college career. What I thought was General Education was actually part of my Lower Core Division Business MIS classes. Technical names aside, it means I am done with my GE and only need one class to finish the first part of my ACTUAL major. From the looks of things I still have ~2 years to go, but it's much better than what I expected. Chico is raising their tuition prices however, by $400 a semester from what I hear. That means a wallet-tightening $2,200 a semester along with books. That averages out to roughly $6,000 a year, about 1/3 of my total income. Needless to say I'm hoping for some scholarships or financial aid. Maybe being on my own for a year and having divorced parents will be enough of a "sob story" to get some money coming my way.

Enough about work and school, how about some play. Ultimate has started back up on Tuesdays, which is sooooo nice. It's our second week of two pickup games a week. It feels so good to be out doing something physical, and having the less competitive crowd is always nice. Kristina and I haven't been dancing lately because we have lost interest with the original teachers we had been seeing. We were supposed to be dancing in a showcase in May, but the teachers didn't end up teaching the one dance we signed up for, and they just cut my swing dance because we couldn't make it to their practices on weekends. We still plan on going to Bill and Debbies lessons every other Sunday. Those are a lot of fun, really low key and friendly people. If you ever want to go, we practice at the main entrance at Neighborhood Church every other Sunday at 7PM.
