Boogey Nights

Tomorrow night I leave to Chico to begin my 4 day dance workshop. The registration ended today but if anyone wants info on it Google search Chico Dance Sensation. They have a lot of stuff going on in those 4 days. Essentially registration starts at 9AM, then classes start at 10AM, then free dancing and competitions start at around 4-5PM. The free dancing lasts until 7AM and the process starts all over again at 9. Michelle, our two dance instructors and myself are the only ones going from our group. I am excited to see how amazed everyone will be when we get back. It's going to be a lot of dancing hehe.

I can't believe our CHUG tourney is next weekend. We are so unprepared for that level of playing. I guarantee half of the people playing will get there and be amazed at the difference between our games and theirs. We only have 3 practices left and wouldn't you know it, we got RAINED on. It was still really fun playing in the rain, but I don't think we got the desperately needed drills we had hoped for.

Thats what I love about CHUG - last year we only won a single game (against the Chico B team) but still had an insanely fun time!

The fact that you guys are practicing/running drills at all puts us leaps and bounds above last year, so maybe we can walk away from this with a winning record, huh?

I think if everyone can remember the drills and not choke we should do ok. I have a feeling those who haven't seen other teams play are going to be a little pressured at first. We are looking better than before though.
